I had an amazing stay at this hostel in the heart of the city. The location was perfect, as it was close to shopping centers, restaurants, and the ferry terminal. it was only a short drive to both the Intercontinental Resort and the airport. The convenience of the nearby food truck plaza was a definite plus. The hostel provided excellent facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and reliable WiFi. The water pressure in the showers was strong, and I appreciated the individual lighting and charging ports by each bunk. this hostel was a fantastic option for starting my trip.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

As women travelling alone, we loved the hostel's central location near the food trucks plaza and ferry port. The dorms had individual lighting and charging ports, and the wifi was fast and accessible everywhere. The water pressure in the showers was strong, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast, though simple, had delicious local spreads like banana & vanilla, mango, and pineapple. It was also convenient that they accepted cards with no surcharge.
Felt cozy, no reason to complain.

The staff were friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the area. The location of the hotel was ideal, close to the bus station and ferry port, making it convenient for transportation.- The facilities were modern and well-equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The noise level in the hotel was quite high, particularly due to thin walls. This affected my sleep quality and overall comfort.

The value for my money at Mahana Lodge was great - comfortable room, excellent air conditioning, and a strong WiFi connection. The location couldn't be beat, with the market and waterfront just down the street, as well as restaurants, banks, and pharmacies nearby.
Breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

My recent stay at a hostel in Papeete was a pleasant experience. The location was excellent, allowing me to easily explore the city and visit the nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The rooms and bathrooms were kept spotlessly clean, creating a comfortable and hygienic environment. The kitchen facilities were adequate for cooking basic meals, and the breakfast provided was simple but satisfying. I also appreciated the convenience of being able to walk to the ferry and easily access public transportation.

The staff were friendly and helpful, showing me the best places to visit nearby. The location was perfect, close to the ferries, food trucks, and the market. Plus, it was conveniently located near the ship docks, which was great for my cruise. The air conditioning in the rooms was a definite advantage, keeping me cool and comfortable during my stay.
The shared bathrooms could be improved, as the shower tile and caulking were laden with black mold. The breakfast provided was mediocre, consisting only of bread and jam, and the lack of towel and soap for showering was a bit inconvenient.

Our stay at this hostel was fantastic. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city center. We were just a short walk away from the great marketplace and the nightly street food market near the sea. The hostel itself was new and clean. We stayed in a dormitory which was fine and very affordable for this city. The facilities, including the toilets and showers, were all kept clean. We also appreciated the breakfast provided, although small, it was very tasty. The staff was helpful and efficient, making our stay more fun.
Nothing to be said.
